VALIDATION
Our onsite service allows the client/end-user to visit the showcase facility during the trialling of new tooling, engineering changes or material changes, in which we can allocate a full 10 hours to provide a full report on each individual tool.
The report consists of:
- A setting sheet - showing actual conditions and parameters used to achieve a good product
- A suggested improvements sheet- A full detailed report
- A fill study - using the short-shot technique the tool is filled progressively and samples bagged up. This provides a gate balance check for multi-impression tooling and vital information on the fill characteristics.
- Weight checks - provided over ten consecutive shots (including gate freeze-off checks)
- First and last off samples - supplied with inspection report
The validation process can also be used to produce production quantities following on from approval.
At IVM we understand the importance and the detail that is required for tool validation - contact us now to see how we can help.
